We represent individuals who are involved in family conflict, including those who are in the process of terminating their marriage through divorce, legal separation or dissolution of marriage, and those who are already divorced but have ongoing issues that need resolution through the court. We assist our clients in determining whether property is marital or premarital/separate property, in valuing assets (including residential and commercial real estate and businesses), in tracing premarital assets/separate property, and in evaluating property division options in light of tax consequences. We also assist our clients in the allocation of parental rights and responsibilities and in ascertaining an appropriate level of spousal support and child support. We work with our clients to find a resolution that is best for his/her particular situation, understanding that the best resolution is not the same in every case. To provide the best representation possible, we frequently work with other financial experts, including business valuators, forensic accountants and financial planners, and other professionals, including psychologists, counselors and parent coordinators to assist us in fashioning thoughtful solutions to complex issues.

We also prepare and review Prenuptial Agreements to assist clients in protecting premarital/separate property in the event of a termination of their marriage by death or divorce.
